within days. Flash sales are gone in minutes. Just be wary of the
restrictions. Always read the fine print before you pay for it. Many
of these cruises are non-refundable.
3. Look for Cabin Upgrades, Onboard Spending
Credits and other Freebies
The cruise lines or your travel agent, may offer you special
incentives to entice you to book with them. Be sure to ask if a free
cabin upgrade is available. Say from an Inside cabin to a cabin with
a picture window and an ocean view. Ask if onboard spending credits
are part of the package.
Onboard spending credits, where available from the
cruise line, are house credits that are placed on
your stateroom's account for you to use during your
cruise vacation. You can use the credit towards
merchandise, lounges and in some, but not all cases, for
Spa Treatments or Shore Excursions. Perhaps your cruise
includes free shore excursions, wine with dinner,
pre-or-post cruise hotel stay, or pre-paid gratuities.
You may need to check with your travel agent to get the
