No one would be surprised to learn
that a cruise line from Disney would
be a great family vacation. What you
might be surprised to learn is that
these ships are as elegantly
appointed as any at sea! You may
also be surprised to learn that
Disney does not forget about its
adult passengers either. The Disney
ships each have three distinct
sections: One for kids, another for
families and yet another for adults
only. So, even if you don't have
kids, you can enjoy a Disney cruise!
Disney also offers an adult only
dining experience in its Paolo
Restaurant. This quiet, elegant,
Italian-theme restaurant serves some
of the best food at sea for a
nominal service charge. Other
restaurants on board offer more
traditional cruise fare. We found
all of them to be good. While the
entertainment on board is decidedly
Disney, it is professional,
energetic and worth going to. There
is also an adult-only comedy club
for late night laughs. Of course, if
you are cruising with kids, Disney
is unbeatable. With several areas on
the ship dedicated to "Kids Only -
No Adults Allowed", your kids will
have a blast with their supervised
activities.
