See the sights in seven days
How much of Europe can you see in one
week? More than you’d expect when you embark on one of
five new 7-day Interlude voyages. Set sail from the
classic cities of Rome, Athens and London to
destinations in the Greek Isles, Western Mediterranean,
Scandinavia, Norway and Ireland & Scotland.
You’ll enjoy visiting the region’s most
popular ports as well as making maiden calls in
less-frequented gems like Lubeck, Germany, known for its
production of the famous almond-based confection,
marzipan.

New picture-perfect ports
With 39 unique itineraries in 2010,
there are plenty of opportunities to discover truly
distinctive destinations throughout Europe. We’re
featuring three maiden ports in Greece alone —Itea,
Cephalonia and Khios, home to medieval villages and an
eleventh-century monastery that is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site.
Depending on your voyage, a cruise to
the Adriatic Sea might introduce you to Ljubljana,
Slovenia, a charming cultural center with graceful
streets and quaint buildings right out of a fairy tale.
Meanwhile, a journey to the Black Sea could include a
stop in Constanta, Romania, which was founded by Greek
colonists in the sixth century B.C. You can even
experience Portugal’s famed Algarve Coast from the town
of Portimao.
2-Day Experiences to savor
In 2010, you’ll have three ways to take
advantage of our popular signature feature, the 2-Day
Experience. On 12-day Holy Land and Egypt & Aegean
cruises, you can enjoy a 2-Day Egypt Experience and
visit monuments of civilization in Cairo & Giza or a
2-Day Israel Experience to explore ancient landmarks
around Jerusalem, Nazareth and Bethlehem. And if you
happen to embark on one of our 10-day Scandinavia &
Russia voyages, you’ll be treated to a 2-DaySt.
Petersburg Experience and more time to take in the
castles, cathedrals and art of this mesmerizing city.
Exciting immersive adventures
With so much to see and do in Europe,
you can ensure you make the most of your visit on a
Princess cruisetour. These comprehensive packages
combine a voyage with an escorted land expedition hosted
by a tour director who will help you make a more
personal connection with the region’s highlights. The
thrilling 16- to 18-night journeys also feature plenty
of free time to explore on your own as well as stays in
centrally located hotels.
Next year, you’ll have three spectacular
cruisetours to choose from in Italy, Ireland or Eastern
Europe.
