Hi Bryce,
I want to thank you for helping with the arrangements for our
recent cruise on the Carribean Princess. My wife, my three
daughters, and I had a wonderful time. Everything worked out
perfectly. I was anticipating having to bribe the maitre d' to
have us all sit together at the second seating, but that turned
out to be not necessary. The seating arrangements had already
been made. You also surprised us with complimentary wine
vouchers and onboard credits, and those extra thoughtful touches
by you were the icing on the cake.
I won't hesitate recommending your services to anyone I know
thinking about a cruise. I also hope to do more business with
you in the future. Thank you again for your extra efforts.

Hi Raye,
We are back from the cruise and had
our reception last weekend... !
The wedding & cruise was wonderful!
Thank you so much for the wine/fruit basket... we loved it!!!
We ended up teaching Zumba in the candlelight lounge the first
day and then it was put in the Capers letter and announced...
( to all passengers ) and we did it
on the deck on the 2nd at sea day. It was perfect. Everyone
really enjoyed themselves.

Hi
Marty & Raye,
Burt and I got back last night from our Alaskan cruise/tour. We had
a fabulous time. Everything went well, the weather could not have
been better. Our tour director was wonderful, as was our driver.
We saw whales, bears, moose, etc. It simple could not have gone any
better than it did. We are grateful to you for that.

Hi
Marty!
I just wanted to take a moment to THANK
YOU so much for all that you did for our family/friends cruise on
Royal Carribbean's Legend of the Seas. My family loves the RCCL
line....and as concerned as I was that we had little ones coming on
this vacation, I was SO impressed with the Ocean Adventure's Club.
My two little ones wanted to be there all the time. I now have no
reservations about bringing them on another RCCL cruise, the staff
is just fabulous!
When I originally started to research
cruises and Travel Agents to help with the process, I was
overwhelmed (Let's face it, sometimes the internet can be a good
thing and sometimes it can be a bad thing). |
|
 |
I
am so happy that I can across your website. I sure didn't expect
the response that I received from our family and friends when I
started planning the cruise, and you were there every step of the
way putting up with my cabin changes, adding new guests at the last
moment, and removing guests in some cases, too! You were amazing
and I know for a fact that you are responsible for our worry-free
and amazing journey through the Caribbean. Everyone that joined us
on the cruise was extremely impressed at how well the whole thing
fell together with little trouble on their parts.
Again I
can not thank you enough, and don't forget that we will be planning
another one for 2008!

Just returned from our honeymoon cruise... thanks, it was
wonderful. You and your staff do a amazing job in arranging
everything. Looking forward to working with you again. I am
keeping your email address for future needs. Also, my wife
and I have a large adult family. We discussed taking all of them
including ourselves on a cruise... Would you please make some
suggestions...for a total of 12 adults.
Again, thanks,

Marty:
We had a fabulous time on our Cruisetour! We were very
impressed with the Princess organization and the way that we
received packets of materials for each of our hotel stays and
bus/train trips one day at a time. Luggage was delivered efficiently
and we loved not having to hassle the check-ins at the hotels along
the way. The weather was awesome, and we understand it has not been
so for most of the Summer. We were able to see Mt. McKinley in all
her glory and also saw whales outside of Juneau on Stephens
Passage—just beautiful to behold as we saw probably a total of a
dozen arch and dive, showing those magnificent muscular tails.
Our stateroom with balcony was awesome, and we loved being able to
bundle up and park out on the deck chairs, taking in the incredible
vistas. The land tours we picked suited us to a tee. My favorite was
the Klondike Scenic Highlights with the train trip up to Fraser,
visit to a suspension bridge, return bus trip including a tour and
lunch at Jewell Gardens. I think Skagway shopping was actually the
most pleasant for me – small, quaint shops. I’m not real big on all
the jewels being promoted on the ship!
The cruise ship is quite a floating city. We marvel at how well they
entertain and accommodate over 2000 people!
I guess my least favorite day was the cruise ship passage from
Ketchikan through the Queen Charlotte Sound with 50 knot winds!!
Things were quite rocky for about 10-12 hours.
We thank you again for all your assistance in securing our
staterooms and assisting us with paperwork and questions. You were
most patient and helpful.
Now we can enjoy and sharing our photo memories of a very special
trip!!
Best regards,

Princess Alaska Cruisetour
September 2006

Hi Marty and Raye,
Just wanted to let you know what a great Princess Cruisetour we
enjoyed in Alaska this month. We flew to Seattle and visited family
for three days and then to Fairbanks and more visiting while
sightseeing. We went to the University of Alaska's beautiful Museum
there and to Creamer's Field Sanctuary where the Sandhill Cranes
were migrating by the hundreds(August 28). We saw both Fort
Wainright and Eilsson Air Force Base and 1 moose by the road. We
shopped at the Bowl Factory and the Knotty Shop as well as Santa
Claus House in North Pole.
Downtown Fairbanks had some gorgeous
flowers and parks along the Chena River. We did the Riverboat
Discovery ride and learned a lot about the native Athabascan
Indians. Weather was warm and somewhat cloudy but not bad in
Fairbanks. One highlight was the Visitor center at the Pipeline
north of town.
Finally we checked into the Fairbanks Princess Lodge which was very
nice and right on the river. If this had been our only night in
Fairbanks as the the Tour had scheduled, I would have been
disappointed as we had to be up and out of there by 7AM.
( editor's note: Always schedule 2 days in
Fairbanks for this very reason ) There were people who did
not get in till 11 PM and had to deal with the time change, too.
All our luggage handling by Princess on
the whole trip was superb, as was the scheduling for bus and train
connections. From Fairbanks we took the train to Denali. We had
eaten at the hotel so we did not need to waste time doing that
instead of watching the scenery from the domed cars and from the
open back landing. Our hosts on the train pointed out Dall sheep and
other sights. Weather was cloudy when we arrived at the Denali Lodge
but we explored the gorgeous property, shopped nearby and took the
free shuttle to the Park Visitor Center which was very nice. We ate
at the Pizza Place at the Hotel - nothing special but good service
and good food. Our friends went in the outdoor Hot Tubs by our room
which was overlooking the Nenana River.
At 6 AM the next day we were on the Natural History Bus Tour of
Denali Park which was part of our Tour (no extra charge). It was a
grey morning about 45 degrees but the sun came out eventually and
the tour was fine but left you wanting more as it only went about 25
miles into the Park. We had time to take more photos before leaving
Denali Lodge about 1 pm having not caught any glimpse of Mt.
McKinley yet.
Finally on the bus to Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge, the clouds parted
and the view was gorgeous with the fall foliage in the foreground
and the Alaska Range in the distance. Soon we saw most of the big
mountain and when we arrived at the Lodge it was completely out! We
ate chicken strips at the lodge bar and sat on the open deck in the
60 degree sunshine admiring the view. We were thankful to have two
days here and would highly recommend it if you are going in to
Talkeetna at all which is a 1-hour shuttle ride.
Once we saw how nice the weather was, we
signed up for a jet-boat tour at noon the next day, took the early
shuttle in and had breakfast in town and bought a print by a local
artist before boarding the boat and flying up the Susitna River.
There were eagles and some salmon but we did not see any bears or
other wildlife. The view of the mountains from the boat was
fantastic and our driver said it was one of the best days of the
year!
We enjoyed the deck/bar at the lodge again for dinner and saw a nice
Photosymphony show. Next morning we hiked the two short trails at
the lodge and took more pictures before our 1PM Shuttle to the Train
which took us to Whittier. That was a long and not too picturesque
ride. We did enjoy the Turnagain Arm section just before reaching
the ship. Some people saw Beluga whales from the beautiful train
cars.
Finally about 7 PM we arrived at the ship and got into our room for
the duration. Our balcony cabin was just as we had expected although
our stateroom was pretty remote from most ship activities! Our
steward was great and we always enjoyed spending time at the room.
The bathroom was small but adequate and there was plenty of closet
space for our stuff. We had definitely over packed as we had only
been on Caribbean cruises before and this was not as formal. Nice
slacks and a few different tops would have been fine for all but the
two Formal Dinner nights and some people didn't bother with those!
Food at the 24-hour Horizon Court was terrific. We did all our
lunches there enjoying the views and the company of other guests.
Dinner food was also excellent and we learned to enjoy meeting new
friends every night as we tried Anytime dining. We had been on the
waiting list for first seating and would have preferred it. At least
we were able to dine early every night so that we could get seats at
the early shows which were always crowded and were always very good.
Princess performers are the best!
As for the scenery of the Inside Passage, we had to skip College
Fiord - too rough seas; we spent a grey day in Glacier Bay but still
had good views; Skagway was misty until we got to the top of the
Pass on the Railway, an excellent tour; Juneau was also rainy - all
we did was go shopping; and, even though Ketchikan was grey, we
enjoyed the Lighthouse Totem Tour by boat where we learned a lot
from our crew and saw lots of eagles and their nests; we even saw a
nuclear Sub which was coming into the base near there. There were a
couple of times when we saw the tails and spray of Orka whales near
the ship, this and the glacier were the best times for having our
own balcony. The rest of the time I would not say it was as
necessary as on a Caribbean Cruise - we never just sat out there as
it was cool and the scenery was just grey.
When we arrived in beautiful Vancouver, the sun finally came out for
good and we had a nice day of sightseeing with our family from
Seattle who drove us back for our flight the next day. All in all we
had a wonderful time and were thoroughly pleased with the
arrangements you made for us. The $363.00 we saved over our local
agency's quote paid for some of our great shore excursions.
Everything went smoothly and I will definitely contact you for our
next Cruise. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to
know about our experiences on this trip of a lifetime!
Thanks,
- Peggy and Ed Koenig

Marty,
Just a note to
thank you for your help in booking the ( Alaska ) Princess Cruise
tour for next year ( 2007 ).
I have been doing
some internet searching of info regarding the cruise tour and the
ship and it becomes increasingly obvious to me that you have taken
excellent care of us. Your knowledge of the advantage of a Port side
room for the southern trip and your ability to get us in the
midships bump out area for our cabins looks to be great. I was not
knowledgeable regarding the bump outs on the Coral Princess until
reviewing some cruise review sites and the reviews I have read
regarding being in the bump out area and on the A and B decks makes
you look brilliant and makes us look lucky to have dealt with you. I
found you guys pretty much by the luck of the draw on a Goggle
search. At the time of my first e-mail I had no idea who you were,
where you were located, how legitimate you were or what your level
of expertise may be. Let me say that at this point I am very happy I
found you and appreciate how well you have served us."

Raye and Marty,
I have been
involved organizing and leading 8 different group cruises of more
than 30 people over the past 10 years. I wholeheartedly believe
Cruise Direct Online made this cruise for our company of 33 on The
Explorer of the Seas this past March, 2006 the easiest to
accommodate the multitude of individual desires and
therefore the best yet. You were always attentive to detail
and quick to
respond to every demand.
I especially want
to thank you for helping to get our special circumstances of the
couple added on the last day prior to
departure completely taken care of. Jumping through hoops must be
one of your specialties. I have never before had such care and
concern from any other cruise travel agent. We really feel some
kinship to you for the outstanding job you did. We will always have
your agency phone number and email address for quick reference for
the next cruise. We had a group picture made and have included it
for you to see the many smiling faces of which you helped to make.
Many thanks for
your massive efforts.

Because of Cruise Direct Online, I had a stress-free vacation that

Hey guys- We had a great trip on the Oosterdam! Cabin 5186 (aft
corner) is so nice! We had fog the entire trip except for leaving
Vancouver so we did not get to use the balcony hardly but we did not
care! This was our first time on one of HAL's big ships and we
loved it. The Captain was just incredible----great music around the
pools (upbeat, happy....not that opera stuff we have been hearing
for the last 4 cruises), the Crow's Nest had an awesome band every
night and the dance floor was jam packed! This was a younger,
hipper crowd so maybe that is why it was different. The staff and
crew just seemed happy.....something we have
not seen in four sailings on HAL.
When we got onboard they had given us another $248 shipboard credit
so I did write a big thank you letter.
It is amazing how different a cruise can be depending on your
waitstaff, cabin steward, and general conditions. We did not have a
single complaint! wow--------and trust me I had a critical eye out!
I wanted to thank you for going to bat for us. We had a really,
really wonderful time!

"fix it!". You will have to forever be my travel agent!
I can't thank you enough for your persistence on this matter.

Dear Raye & Marty,
We cruised from Vancouver to Anchorage on the Island
Princess from August 21 for 7 days. We experienced 3
days pre-cruise in Vancouver/Victoria and a 5 day
post-cruise on the Midnight Sun Express and Princess
Lodges to Fairbanks. Our experience with Cruise Direct
Online was and always has been excellent. They monitor
our selected accommodations and usually improve the
"deal" before we make our final payment to Princess.
Princess out did themselves, especially with our pre and
post-cruise logistics. Baggage handling, on-site help
and tour guidance was absolutely perfect. Our onboard
experience was delightful. We were blessed with clear
weather and abnormally high temperatures on the land in
Canada and Alaska.

We returned home safely on Saturday from our
wonderful adventure. The theme of the trip turned out to
be war cemeteries, war history, water, and watercraft.
The QM2 was terrific. It was everything we hoped for and
more. The stateroom you chose for us was perfect.
Bright, spacious, nicely appointed, and conveniently
located to everything important. Most of the time we were
unaware that the ship engines were running or that we were
on the ocean, it was all so smooth and quiet. The food on
the QE2 Caronia class was better than the QM2, but the
accommodations and everything else were much better on the
QM2.
Many thanks and best wishes to you and Marty.

Marty,
We got back from our cruise to Bermuda on the Horizon just
yesterday. I have "post-cruise letdown" today if there
is such a thing! We had never cruised before and this
was for our 20th anniversary celebration. I felt like a
princess on the ship--from the handsome Rumanian waiter, Varga,
to the Asst MaitreD', Frenki, to the Cabin Steward, Martin and
every other crew member who we came
in contact with, it was wonderful! We definitely want to
do it again!
I must especially thank you, Marty for helping this novice
cruiser to choose the ship, the room and to answer the
many questions I had. We thought
everything was so smooth in the booking process and we
received the detailed cruise documents in plenty of time.
We also thought the cost was very reasonable. I made
sure to tell our table-mates in the Dining room who we had
booked with. We hope to tuck away some money to
cruise through your agency again before too long. Thank you
again.

with. You people seem to really want to give your customers the
best deal and the fastest service. Now we are looking forward to
our special 10th Anniversary and to celebrate it by cruising in
style, something we never would have believed could be done so
soon...
Give our regards to Raye, and thanks so much!

Marty, I want to thank you so much for all the attention
that you have given over the past year plus. You have put
up with insane questions as well as my bugging you!!!! I
am so excited and cannot wait to get on board..... I will
definitely call you for our next cruise. We will go

Marty, we had a great time and we
REALLY enjoyed our room. We've never cruised before and we
have our own houseboat - - - but I think we'll do this again
sometime. Probably take the kids along next time.

Although the Marriage Builders
Cruise for the year 2001 is over, the new life and marriages for
those who attended have just begun. In fact, every couple had
such a positive experience on the cruise that we've been
informed many will be sailing with us again in 2005. That says a
lot!

My husband & I booked a cruise
through your company representative Raye aboard the Radisson
Diamond. We had requested a stateroom with a balcony, but none
were available.... Raye put us on a waitlist and said she would
call if one became available. One did become available and she
notified us immediately. We are so thankful to her for not
forgetting us! The balcony added so much to our experience on
the Diamond. Our experience with Cruise Direct Online exceeded
our expectations.... Raye was extremely responsive to our
seemingly endless questions! She is very knowledgeable about the
ship as as well as the route and totally prepared us for a
wonderful trip.... I cannot say enough about the incredible
service aboard the Diamond. We had the most relaxed time
onboard. My advice to anyone considering a cruise is to take
this one, visit the spa often for a massage, get a stateroom
with a balcony and book through Raye of Cruise Direct Online. We
cannot thank Raye and Cruise Direct Online enough for the
professional service they offer that truly delivers!

I want to tell you we had the most
wonderful vacation. The cruise was
absolutely the best one yet. The ship was so gorgeous. If it
wasn't moving you would never know you weren't at some resort
somewhere instead of on a ship. Our rooms were just great and we
really took advantage of the balconies that we had.
Unfortunately we probably will never go back to a room with just
a window after experiencing a balcony on a ship. It was
great to wake up in the morning and go out on the balcony and
watch the ship pull into the ports for the day.
You were right about the
promenade rooms being noisy. We watched several parades and
gatherings that took place on the promenade mall and those rooms
had to have been noisy if you were trying to sleep. Marty it was
so much fun. I just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed
ourselves immensely. We are also thinking about the new ship
Radiance of the Seas 5 day cruises next spring.

I worked with Raye and just recently
booked and sailed our cruise. We had a great time. Now, I'm
back, looking for a fun cruise at a great price for our family.

neat.

Needless to say it was a lot of work, but they came through with

Raye, I was wonderfully surprised
today to receive the beautiful bouquet of spring flowers. Your
consideration is very touching and meant a great deal. The
flowers certainly brighten both the house and my spirits. I know
that Gene has enjoyed working with you on the trip and very much
appreciated your attention to detail and the efficient, caring
way in which you handled all of the arrangements.
