How
to make a reservation
First, use CruiseSearch to find your cruise, then fill out the
online form or contact us by e-mail or phone. Initially we can
reserve your cruise by placing what is called a "courtesy hold".
This holds the space for you while you make your decision. Once you
have decided, a 'Firm reservation" is necessary. To receive a firm
reservation confirmation, you will need to make a deposit. In most
cases: 3 and 4-night cruises, a deposit of $100 per person is
required; for 6 and 7-night cruises, the amount is $250 per person;
and for 8-night and longer cruises, $350 per person is required to
confirm your reservation. Each cruise line sets it's own deposit
requirements. Note: For most cruise lines, you may cancel and get
back all of your deposit, if the cancellation is before final
payment is due. Usually 75-60 days prior to sailing. Holidays 90-120
days.

When is the
balance due?
Final payment of the balance must be received at least 45 days prior
to the sailing date for 3 and 4-night cruises and 75-60 days prior
to the sailing date for 7-night and longer cruises. Christmas/New
Years and other holiday sailings have different payment
requirements. Contact us for details.
How
do I pay?
Preferably by credit card. Depending upon the cruise line, you can
pay, using your Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Carte
Blanche®, Optima®, Diners Club International® and Discover® cards
for both group and individual bookings.
With our
Pay Direct Process (PDP) the information provided on the Credit Card
Authorization Form is given directly to the Cruise Line who will
process your charges. Their name will appear on your monthly credit
or charge card statement.
We do
not accept this sensitive and private information via e-mail or over
the internet, the form may be returned only by Fax or U.S. Mail.
Personal or business checks are not accepted, nor is cash.
Certified or Bank Drafts made out directly to the Cruise Line are
accepted.
What does the price
include?
The price of your cruise ticket includes sea transportation, all of
your meals and in-between snacks on-board; your stateroom, on board
activities and entertainment; plus, an exciting voyage to some of
the most provocative and culturally-enriching places in the world.
All prices are per-person, based on double occupancy of the
stateroom, and are quoted in US dollars.
Generally speaking,
depending upon cruise line, air transportation, shore excursions,
medical services, items of a personal nature – such as bar
beverages, gift shop purchases, beauty salon/barber shop and spa
services, gambling and service/porterage gratuities are not included
in the cruise fare. Guests are urged to read the cruise line’s
brochure and cruise line confirmation from the cruise line for
complete details on what is or what is not included.
What
about the prices?
These offers are capacity controlled, time-sensitive and subject to
availability. Cruise prices and availability fluctuate daily based
on capacity and how well the cruise is selling. The cruise
line's price could change between the time we priced the cruise and
the time you call back to book the cruise. The prices quoted are NOT
GUARANTEED until a deposit or full payment if required is made.
Capacity controlled simply means that the cruise line has an exact
and limited number of cabins at this price and when they are gone,
they are gone!
What about insurance to cover an unforeseen cancellation?
With Trip Insurance you may have coverage in the event of certain
unforeseen circumstances that will refund the cost of your cruise
vacation, minus of course the premium you paid for the insurance. We
highly recommend that everyone be insured. Your choice of travel
insurance is Optional. Each Cruise Line's Vacation Protection Plan
is different but in general covers trip cancellation, trip
interruption and delay, baggage protection, medical expense coverage
and emergency evacuation. There are monetary limits and restrictions
that apply to such coverage's. The price varies based upon length of
cruise. Details are available upon request. A general description of
the cruise line's coverage can be found in their brochure. Trip
Insurance is also available by independent insurance

Q:
When can you get pricing for Caribbean Cruises for 2009?
When would be the best time to book?

A:
For most cruise lines, You can get pricing now and reserve
your cruise. But if you wait until the "last minute" , about
four to six weeks before sailing cruise lines will discount
their rates if they have unsold inventory ( cabins ) to
fill. This year, we have been some very low prices, as there
are too many cruise ships that "winter" in the Caribbean.
Talk to a travel agent who specializes in cruises; they are
best equipted to give you advice on what cruise line or
cruise ship best suits your needs and budget.
