Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge
Overlooking the turquoise Kenai River, the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge® offers the serenity of a wilderness retreat nestled deep in an emerald forest. The Kenai Peninsula is known as “Alaska's Playground,” and you’ll soon discover why as our lodge is your gateway to explore the rivers, pristine fjords, lush mountains and beyond.
You can spend your time here fishing for prized salmon, river rafting, hiking and more with a variety of optional land excursions. In the evening, return to the comfort of a crackling fire, and feast on local delicacies, all special features of the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge.

Wilderness Amenities
Each bungalow-style guest room includes vaulted ceilings made of naturally finished wood, a cozy sitting area with a wood-burning stove and private porch. The main lodge boasts a crackling fireplace surrounded by chairs for relaxing and visiting with friends. Just beyond is an expansive deck, overlooking the Kenai River valley and nearby mountains.

Enjoy spirits, appetizers and casual fare outdoors or inside at Rafter's Lounge. Continue to the Eagle's Crest Restaurant where the magnificent views, stone fireplace and tempting Signature Alaskan Cuisine make dining an unforgettable event.

Nature Hikes & Scenic Tours
Cooper Landing Trail Ride – Experience the stunning beauty of the Kenai Peninsula on horseback as expert guides lead you on a leisurely adventure that provides picturesque views of the Kenai Lake, snow-capped Kenai Mountains and the Copper Landing Valley.
Kenai Nature Hike – Stretch your legs on a leisurely five-mile guided nature hike through verdant meadows of wildflowers, past mountain creeks, a spruce forest and wildlife habitat. Your naturalist guide will give you insight on all the natural beauty you see along the way.
Rafting, Fishing & Boating
Kenai Canyon River Rafting – For the thrill seeker, this exciting 20-mile rafting trip has it all-wildlife, scenery, a gentle float and exhilarating rapids, followed by a picnic lunch. You’ll also head through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge where viewing opportunities are incredible.
Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise – Travel to Seward for a cruise to the unspoiled wonders of Kenai Fjords National Park, where a wide range of marine life will be on spectacular display. Cruise through ice floes as you approach one of the area’s numerous glaciers and marvel at the sight of glaciers calving into the turquoise waters.
Kenai River Scenic Float – Experience the natural beauty of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge on a scenic river-rafting trip. An experienced guide will lead you on an 11-mile float along the Kenai River as you watch for eagles, moose, Dall sheep and more.
Kenai Upper River Sportfishing – Experience world-class fishing amidst dazzling mountain scenery onboard a non-motorized drift boat or raft as you angle for Kenai’s famed trophy-sized fish. Depending on the season, you may fish for Sockeye salmon, Dolly Varden or rainbow trout.

Alaska Husky Spirit – Enjoy a lively evening show at the lodge with dog musher Lorraine Temple and her huskies. Hear tales of the trail, dog mushing, the Iditarod and her own “going to extremes” talks. A slide show and dog harnessing demonstration is as informative as it is entertaining.
Explore Cooper Landing & Gold Panning Adventure – Spend a day among the forest and mountains, taking in the sights of Cooper Landing. Visit the local museum and see a sled dog kennel, pan for gold and later, tour a pioneer cemetery.
Explore Historic Seward – Enjoy the stunning scenery along Alaska’s only National Scenic Byway and learn about the history of the area as you travel to Resurrection Bay and the city of Seward. Known as the “Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park,” you’ll have time to explore the historic old town, browse the art galleries, museums and quaint shops and sample the local cuisine.
