We are not your typical travel agent.
We offer good prices by
strictly using the Internet, and only e-mail to handle
bookings.
If you like saving money
and don’t require having to physically see, touch, and speak with an agent
in person,
then we may be right for
you.
You may have questions with enough depth and
detail that are not covered at our web site and
your comfort zone
requires more personal contact.
You could
best be served by your neighborhood travel agent. Our web site and
services are geared toward guests who know
exactly what they want, and are comfortable communicating
primarily via e-mail.
You should also be confident,
familiar and have some experience
working with internet
travel companies similar to Expedia, Orbitz or Travelocity.
English is our official language. We do not have
foreign speaking service agents.
-
You will be quoted a price in US dollars for a
specific cabin category on a specific sailing.
-
All payments must be by credit card and are
converted to US dollars.
-
Your credit card statement will reflect direct
billing from the cruise line.
If you need air and will be departing from
outside the US or Canada, regardless of your destination, you
will have to book your airline tickets
separately - we can provide the cruise only.
Duel confirmation of your booking.
In addition to our emailed or faxed confirmation
of your booking, we also provide the cruise lines
confirmation number as well as the phone number
of the cruise line to do advanced registration and
you can use that phone number should you wish to
verify your booking directly with them.

Visa, Mastercard or the American Express credit card.
Your credit card company will
automatically convert your local currency to U.S. dollars;
-If you send us an
e-mail and do not receive a reply, it is likely that you are among an
alarming number of

their e-mail address incorrectly in
their mail software. So, be sure to check and check
again that you have
entered your e-mail address correctly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your cruise ship's sailing date must be at least 45 days
from the date of your reservation to allow us enough time to properly
process your booking and ship documents overseas. NO P.O. Box addresses.
Your
overseas address must be entered correctly to avoid any problems with
document delivery.
2.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation ( subject to collection of funds
),from Cruise Direct Online.
3.
All reservations are subject to the successful receipt of payment by the
cruise line. All reservations are subject to the cruise line's payment and
cancellation policy. All guests should read thoroughly the cruise lines
brochure for details BEFORE making any reservations or payments.
4.
You are responsible for having the proper Proof of Citizenship, United
States Entry Visa's or other required documentation, and Photo ID. Failure
to bring with you the proper documentation may result in denied boarding of
your cruise ship. If you are denied boarding, you will not get a refund of
your cruise vacation.
Visa requirements vary from country to
country. If you are not sure whether you will need a visa to enter any
of the countries you will visit on your cruise, please consult your
Department of State to verify any specific visa requirements. Visas are
sometimes slow or difficult to obtain, so this issue is best dealt with
prior to booking.
The U.S. Department of State recently
passed a law requiring citizens of Visa Waiver Program countries to
present machine-readable passports when entering the U.S. without a
visa. Citizens of these countries (shown below) who travel without a
machine-readable passport will be required to have a U.S. visa based on
the following effective dates:
- Citizens of Belgium have been
required to present valid, machine-readable passports since May 15,
2003, in order to enter the U.S. on the visa waiver program (without a
U.S. visa).
- Citizens of Australia, Austria,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan,
Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino,
Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom
will be required to have valid, machine-readable passports as of October
26, 2004, in order to enter the U.S on the visa waiver program (without
a U.S. visa).
As of the effective dates above, holders
of non-machine-readable passports will need a valid passport and a valid
U.S. visa to enter the U.S. for cruises departing the U.S., or a valid
multiple-entry visa for cruises that depart and return to the U.S.
SPECIAL NOTE: Alaska, Hawaii and Canada/New England
Cruises: Due to stricter Canadian entry requirements, immigration
officials have advised that citizens from certain countries will require
a visa in order to visit or transit Canada. Guests who are not US or
Canadian citizens may check the following web site for a listing of
restricted nationalities, to determine if a visitor visa is necessary:
www.cic.gc.ca.
Subsequently, all guests belonging to
nationalities that require a visa to enter Canada may be denied boarding
in if they do not possess such a visa. If you are a holder of a US Alien
Resident Card or holder of a Canadian Residency Permit you may be
exempt. Please note, visa requirements vary by country and are subject
to change. As always, guests traveling abroad are urged to contact their
local immigration office and/or respective embassy or consulate to
determine the entry requirements for their cruise destinations. You and
only you are responsible for having the proper documentation.
IMPORTANT
|
Regulations regarding Visa
and Passport Requirements are subject to change without notice, so
all travelers are urged to
check with the U.S. Department of State for the latest up-to-date
requirements.
Do not rely on just the
documentation information found here as it may not be up to date. |
5. We will send your documents to you via United States Post Office
Global Priority Mail. There is $12.00 US charge for postage and handling.
That amount will be added to your payment for the cruise.
6. Special Note: Travel insurance is NOT available from us.
7. You must
make your own arrangements for transportation to and from the ship.
