Princess Cruises 2012 - 2013 Destinations

There's even more on the horizon
for 2011–2012
Princess has already announced the cruises they have planned for
Alaska and Europe in 2011–2012. But that’s just the
beginning of the exciting voyages to distant parts of
the world now available aboard the Princess Fleet. If
you have a taste for the exotic, Princess Cruises has a
full menu to whet your appetite in 2011–2012.
Their 16-day Southeast Asia itinerary
takes you from the imperial grandeur of Beijing to the
sparkling skyline of Singapore. You also can visit
multiple continents on cruises between Asia and Alaska
or Australia. Or call at ports in the Indian Ocean and
West Africa, from Casablanca and Cape Town to Mumbai and
Kuala Lumpur.
Thier voyages to Australia and New Zealand
range from the sophistication of Sydney to the glaciers
of Fjordland National Park. The option of “Aussie-style”
cruising lets you experience regional food and
entertainment as well. A new 28-day roundtrip from Los
Angeles on Sapphire Princess® calls at favorite
Hawaiian destinations such as Hilo, Honolulu,
Kauai and Maui, then heads toward the blue lagoon of
Bora Bora, Tahiti’s towering green
peaks and Samoa’s reefs, beaches and mountainous
rainforests. Sapphire Princess® and Golden Princess®
also reprise their popular 14-day roundtrips from Los
Angeles to the Hawaiian Islands, including calls in
spirited Ensenada.
For a small-ship experience, Ocean Princess® offers two
new itineraries. Our 16-day South Pacific and New
Zealand cruise explores the tropical jewels of Fiji,
Samoa and French Polynesia on the way from Sydney to
Tahiti. And a 27-day South Pacific and New Zealand Grand
Adventure® carries you from Honolulu to Sydney,
combining highlights from both sides of the Equator and
International Date Line, as well as Down Under.
In South America, they offer 50
percent more capacity in 2012 to round legendary Cape
Horn and log a sailing rite of passage. Departures from
Rio de Janeiro will visit the colorful Brazilian coast.
While our two-week small-ship experiences on Pacific
Princess® will explore the Amazon.
Dreaming of the ultimate travel adventure? Princess is
ready with a 107-day voyage in 2012 that transits the
Panama Canal on a new route from Ft. Lauderdale to
Venice. Aboard the magnificent Pacific Princess®, you’ll
sail through the South Pacific, explore New Zealand’s
Fjordland National Park and visit Australia’s Great
Barrier Reef. Call at ports such as cosmopolitan Hong
Kong and dazzling, tropical Phuket, bustling Mumbai and
incomparable Cairo. Then enter the Mediterranean and
conclude your journey in one of Italy’s most romantic
cities. In addition, our world cruise
in 2011 will depart Sydney on a 104-day roundtrip with
visits to 43 ports on six continents.

Did
You Know?
Get the shot! Tips for
photographing wildlife
Capturing wildlife with
your camera can be
challenging. You never
know when you might
glimpse graceful whales
from the deck of your
ship — or encounter
sheep or grizzly bears
roaming Denali National
Park. But one thing is
for sure — they won’t
wait patiently for you
to set up your shot!
Here are some simple
guidelines to help you
take the wildlife “home”
with you:
1) Be ready! When a
moose wanders into view
you won’t have time to
hunt for film. Always
have your camera handy,
with fresh batteries, fi
lm or memory cards. Make
sure you are familiar
with your camera’s
features beforehand —
you won’t want to be
fumbling for the right
button at that crucial
moment.
2) Use a telephoto lens.
You want to get close to
the action while staying
a safe distance from the
animal. You’ll also want
the animal to take up as
much of the frame as
possible — you don’t
want a picture where you
have to “hunt” for the
wolf in the frame.
3) Use a tripod. It can
be especially tricky to
keep your camera steady
when shooting with a
telephoto lens. A tripod
— even a very simple one
— will make a huge
difference in keeping
your photos crisp and
clear. |
