NOTICE FOR ONLINE RESERVATIONS
Should you decide to book online, you are agreeing
to the specifics of your reservation, such as: cruise ship, sailing
date, cabin and category selection and costs including the cruise
fare, port charges (NCF) , taxes and any additional items presented
by the cruise line on their Cruise Reservations System.
Reservation/Cancellation policies of the cruise line apply, so be
aware any payments you make online may be subject to cancellation
fees and penalties imposed by the cruise line. Read their
reservation, payment and cancellation policy online at their web
site BEFORE making any payments to them for your cruise reservation.
If you have any questions, Check with us first BEFORE reserving your
cruise online. In most cases, but not all, Deposits are fully
refundable, subject to the cruise lines payment policy, up to the
day before cancellation penalties apply, often 75-60 days prior to
sailing. 90 days for holiday cruises. Service or booking fees are
not refundable. Last minute bookings require full payment and all
payments are subject to the cruise lines cancellation and refund
policy. Please be sure to read the cruise line's brochure or read
their booking/reservation policy online at their web site to learn
about their policy before you make any payment.
Booking your
cruise online obligates you by requiring a deposit or full payment
to be paid to the cruise line at the time of booking.
Your credit card
will be charged immediately by the cruise line.

To facilitate the cruise line's ability to continue
to provide safe and enjoyable cruises to their guests, the cruise
line reserve the right to refuse to accept a booking request from an
individual or group and reserve the right to cancel an existing

Refusal to Transport and Guest Vacation Policies. ( Each cruises
line may 'Name" their policies differently, so check their web site
for the equivalent policy )
The price of your cruise vacation includes ship
accommodation, ocean transportation, most meals, some beverages and
most entertainment aboard the ship. All prices are quoted in U.S.
dollars unless otherwise noted, on a per-person basis and based on
double occupancy of the stateroom. In addition to the above, the
price if you purchase a "cruisetour" includes all transportation
(e.g. by motorcoach, rail, or otherwise) as indicated in the
itinerary and transfers, all sightseeing as indicated in the
itinerary, as well as hotel accommodations (based on double
occupancy, single occupancy available for an extra charge).
The cruise/cruisetour vacation price does not
include: air transportation (except as noted), transfers (except as
noted), optional shore and land excursions, meals and accommodations
ashore (except as noted), certain beverages, casino gambling,
photographs, gratuities, telephone calls, specialty restaurants
onboard certain vessels, purchases from the ship stores, or items of
a personal nature such as medical services, laundry, massages, spa
treatments, hair styling or manicures. Some of these items may be
purchased separately. Food and beverages are not included on Alaska
Cruisetours. On the Canadian Rockies Cruisetours, food is included
as noted in the cruisetour itinerary. For cruisetours that include
air travel, airfare is included in the package.
Cruise Direct Online/Travel Direct Corporation and
the cruise line are independent and separate companies. As such, we
have no control over the cruise line's Cruise Reservations System
operations. We provide this travel planning service as a
convenience to you only, a means of booking your cruise direct via
the internet with the cruise line online. Any decision to use the
cruise line's Reservations System is at the user's own risk. You may
use their online reservations system to research cruises. Unless you
place a deposit or other form of payment for a cruise with the
cruise line online, you are not obligated in any way to purchase
cruise reservations from them. Once you make payment you are
accepting the cruise line's policies regarding the cruise you
selected and reserved with payment. The cruise line's Cruise
Reservations System will provide online booking reservations for
cruises from their site. You may return to our site, Cruise Direct
Online at any time. Simply hit your back button, sometimes more than
once, to return.
When booking your travel reservations online Travel
Direct Corporation, Cruise Direct Online will be able to answer your
booking or reservation questions, and subject to the cruise lines
policy: make changes to, or resolve any travel booking issues,
related to cruise reservations made with the cruise line's Cruise
Reservations System.
