| Guests with Special
Needs |
| Most cruise lines, to
the extent feasible, can accommodate guests with special
needs so they are able to enjoy their ships and other
facilities. Handicapped equipped staterooms that have
wider door openings and bathrooms with special facilities
are available in a limited number on most newer ships. For
example, service animals are permitted on board some ships
if prior arrangements have been made at time of booking.
In situations where a guest with special needs, such as a
guest in a wheelchair, would be unable to be comfortably
accommodated due to vessel safety barriers and other
criteria, cruise lines may find it necessary to ask the
guest to bring along a companion to assist or make
alternative arrangements. Please be advised that guests
who will enter their third trimester of pregnancy by the
time of the voyage are not be permitted to sail. Guests
who have any type of medical, physical or other special
needs are required to contact the cruise line to discuss
the details of their specific special needs. |
