ALASKA Q&A....Did
you know FALL is the BEST time to see
Alaska?
WHY AN ALASKA CRUISE THIS FALL CAN BE
A GREAT ADVENTURE
AND SAVE YOU MONEY!
Royal Caribbean has allowed countless vacationers
to leave their footprints in the sand,
but we also give you the opportunity to leave them
in the snow!
Why is FALL is the BEST
time to see Alaska?
• WEATHER: Mid-day temperature average ranges
between 55-65 °F. End of August until beginning of September has dry
air, which means no rainy days.
• WILDLIFE: During this time period wildlife graze
in the coastal lowlands, bears are salmon-fishing in the open, while
seals and whales are at their peak, allowing you more enjoyable
sightings.
• VIEWS: Snow-capped mountains are spectacular and
more visible, with the best opportunity to see Mt. McKinley (a.k.a.
Mt. Denali). Spectacular foliage, stunning fall colors and
incredible northern lights views.
• TIMES: Employees at our partner hotels are excited and happy to
serve our guests before the end of the season. They go above and
beyond the call of duty to accommodate our guests’ needs. End of
season also means great shopping discounts for guests.

2012 ALASKA CRUISETOURS

Coastal regions are
beautiful, but to see some of the most interesting cities and
sights, you need to explore further inland. That's why Royal
Caribbean created cruise tours, a combination of an exciting
cruise vacation and land tour that allows you to experience all
that a vacation destination has to offer. You will take in the
scenery, local flavor, cultures and historic landmarks, all
while traveling by deluxe motor coach or train. You'll also stay
in some of the finest and best-located hotel properties. Royal
Caribbean offers cruise tours to Alaska. Plus, in most
cases, the land portion of the cruise tour can be taken either
before or after the cruise.
Choose from 21
amazing Alaska cruise tour packages, ranging from ten to
fourteen nights, including a 7-night Alaska cruise. Experience
the beauty of soaring taiga forests, cascading waterfalls, and
rolling tundra on itineraries visiting Fairbanks, Anchorage
Seward, and
natural destinations like Denali National Park, home to Mount
McKinley. Between destinations, you won't miss a minute of the
scenery or wildlife, thanks to Royal Caribbean's luxurious
glass-domed train cars and deluxe motor coaches.
All of Royal Caribbean's Alaska cruise tours are fully escorted
by knowledgeable Adventure Specialists who act as guides,
historians and concierges. Cruise tour vacations are offered
before or after a 7-night Northbound or Southbound Alaska cruise
on Radiance of the Seas®, and 19 of the 21 Alaska cruise tour
vacations include travel on the Wilderness Express®.
With so many different options available
in Alaska, we offer you plenty of ways to explore the best of
the Last Frontier. There's so much to see in America's biggest
state, from Gold Rush-era mines and towering totem poles, to
expansive forests teeming with wildlife. Each of Royal
Caribbean's Alaska cruise tour land packages covers these
experiences and more, with something for every interest.
